2 About Pebbles, Pebblers, Pebblings, and Pebbling Groups
Four things you will see and hear a lot about on aPebble.com are Pebbles, Pebblers, Pebblings and Pebbling Groups.
Pebbles
You create a Pebble for your cause on aPebble.com. Think of your Pebble as everything you need to both manage and present your cause online: your website, your blast email system, data management system, and more. Your Pebble is made up of all of these things working together in a integrated and powerful way.
Pebblers
The Pebbler is the administrator for your pebble. The Pebbler manages and runs all components of the Pebble.
Pebblings and Pebbling Groups
Pebblings are anyone who can take “action” or “work” on behalf of your organization using aPebble. You can make anyone in your community a pebbling, assign them to a pebbling group, and then assign that group stuff to do.
Your pebblings might be volunteers, staff, interns, precinct captains, directors, or something else entirely. Every organization is structured differently and we are trying to give you the tools to organize it online exactly the way you organize it offline. For example, you might have a pebbling group of “volunteers” or one for “phone-bankers” or “interns” or “staff.”
Note: It is important to note that, Pebblings will only have permission or access to what you as Pebbler give them permission to see, work with, or edit.
